Sacramento Area Disaster Response Network (SADRN) currently owns one large cargo container that is stocked with disaster recovery supplies. The container is located in the parking lot of the Rancho Cordova Branch Library.

To subscribe to the listserv for the Sacramento Area Disaster Response Network (SACREGCOL-L):

• Go to http://www.csus.edu/listserv/
• Click on "Subscribe to or unsubscribe from a Listserv"
• Type SACREGCOL-L in the "csus list name to subscribe to" box
• Type your name and email address in the appropriate boxes
• Click "Join SACREGCOL-L"

To communicate with each other, address your email message to SACREGCOL-L@LISTSERV.CSUS.EDU. Messages sent to this address will be automatically distributed to each member.

Disaster Assistance

The California Preservation Program is available to provide disaster assistance to libraries, archives, historical societies and cultural institutions. Institutions are encouraged to call for assistance as soon as possible. The emergency toll-free number 888-905-7737 will connect you with a disaster response specialist. Phone consultation is provided at no charge. If phone consultation is not sufficient, on-site assistance can be arranged at minimal or no charge.

Container Inventory

Carefully check the lock area for spiders before inserting the key!! A form for listing used supplies is provided just inside the container door. Complete and send the form to Disaster Coordinator. Supplies are available on a first come, first serve basis with the responsibility for replacing any materials used.

Note:  Certain items are to remain in the container to assist with unloading: leather gloves, broom, flashlight and dolly. Please restore the container to a clean condition when you leave. In the container are the following materials:
