Give to those planning for their next meal

Library accepting donations for Sacramento Food Bank
We'll soon be loading our tablets with ebooks to keep us comfortable throughout the holidays. Thereafter, we'll crack the spine of our 2018 calendars to make plans well into the New Year. 

During this time, Sacramento Public Library invites you to consider those simply planning for their next meal. Now through Dec. 21, you can make a donation to Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services at participating Sacramento Public Library locations.

Items needed, include:

  • Non-perishable food items including canned tuna or chicken, peanut butter, beans, pasta, canned fruit and vegetables
  • Diapers, baby formula, baby food, baby supplies

Donations can be dropped off at the following Sacramento Public Library locations during regular business hours through Dec. 21:

Arden-Dimick Library Carmichael Library
Central Library Belle Cooledge Library
Fair Oaks Library Franklin Community Library
McKinley Library Robbie Waters Pocket-Greenhaven Library
Rancho Cordova Library South Natomas Library
Sylvan Oaks Library  


Expired or damaged goods cannot be accepted.
