Library seeks 12 to tell their Sacramento story
We're teaming up with StoryCenter for its California Listens: Stories About Being Californian project to provide 12 people the opportunity to tell their Sacramento story during a two-day storytelling workshop.

The workshop takes place at Central Library on July 25 and 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Contributors will learn how to make a 2-4 minute video story — from writing and narrating a script to preparing a visual treatment. Each story will highlight life in Sacramento to be placed in the California State Library archive.

The free workshop is led by Berkeley-based StoryCenter, which is recognized internationally for its community-based and short personal archival films. California Listens, Spring-Summer 2018 is sponsored by California State Library, in conjunction with Califa Group, StoryCenter, and the Sacramento Public Library.
