Library nominated for industry Oscar

Winners to be announced later this spring
Can you hear that? We're celebrating our third nomination for the National Medal for Museum and Library Service given annually by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).

Winners to be announced later this spring. Until then, here are a few words from our fearless leader, Rivkah K. Sass:

“As a society, we often make fun of those who say, ‘It was an honor just to be nominated.’ but being nominated again is an honor. The nomination is validation of what the Library does for Sacramento, and that we continue to demonstrate excellence by opening new doors for the people in our community.”

Official announcement from the IMLS:
