A street and rooftop car show in downtown Sacramento featuring all pre-1972 American vehicles.

We’re shutting down a block of 9th Street downtown by Cesar Chavez Park for the day, with more cars on the roof of the garage behind the library. Come check out Kustoms and hot rods, street machines and muscle cars.

Register your classic vehicle

Is your car a star? We’re looking for classic vehicles for the show. Owners of each car that is accepted will need to pay a $10 registration fee. Owners will receive a goodie bag that includes an event poster, chamois and other items.

Register online or print the application to enter your vehicle.

If you do not register online, the registration form can be delivered to Central Library’s Circulation Desk, to the attention of D. Tavarez, or mailed to 828 I St., Sacramento CA 95814, Att. D. Tavarez. Registration fee is $10 payable online or the day of the event.

We’ll also have:

  • Food trucks
  • DJs
  • Awards for best of show
  • Sale items like T-shirts, books on cars and posters
This is an alcohol-free event.

The Tsakopoulos Library Galleria will open at 9 a.m. with additional displays. The Central Library will be open from noon to 5 p.m., so you can come in and check out books and use our many library services.
