7/17/2014
Get help with job searches, resumes, Career Center and more with in-person experts.

Looking for a job? Expert volunteers are ready to help you with job searching and resume writing. Sign up for a free one-hour session to get personalized assistance and explore Career Center, a Web-based service with job coaches that can help you with resume writing and interview skills.

Sacramento Public Library currently hosts Job Coach volunteers at 17 of our locations. Click here for a full schedule of available Job Coach sessions across our system.

Many locations offer appointments on Saturdays or around lunchtime on weekdays—perfect for those who already have a job but would like to find a better one. Because most locations require an appointment, please use the schedule link above to sign up online if possible.

If you’re able to visit the Central Library, please come by the second-floor College and Career Center. It’s a one-stop shop for books to boost your career, test-taking manuals from Kaplan and others, course listings from local colleges and educational institutions, and much more.

You can also sign up for Job Coach sessions at Central:
  • Thursdays, 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays, noon to 2 p.m.
