Free, healthy lunches for kids and teens 18 and younger at thirteen library locations


Lunch @ the Library helps keep Sacramento’s children and teens nourished and engaged while school is out. By serving healthy meals during the summer, the Library is helping to combat hunger and ensure that Sacramento kids return to school in the fall ready to learn.

*June 18 - July 30, Monday lunches will be served at Martin Luther King Jr. Library and Valley Hi-North Laguna Library

Tell your community about Lunch @ the Library

  • Meals are provided only for those 18 years of age and younger
  • No signups or documentation needed; kids can just show up
  • Children must take the entire meal, including milk
  • Meals must be eaten on-site
  • One meal per person
