Southgate

The Southgate Library opened at its present location one block south of Florin Mall in 1975. Just a few blocks from the Florin Road exit of Highway 99, we are easily accessible by public transportation and has plenty of vehicle parking space.

Our children’s area has been transformed into a Family Place Library, a developmentally appropriate learning space for very young children (ages 0 to 5 years) and their parents. The space also features interactive materials and wall-mounted learning toys to support young children’s development and a special materials collection for parents of young children.

For homework help, visit our Homework Zone, where drop-in homework help for school-aged and high school children is available on certain days of the week.
