Autism and special needs services

Discover the many services we provide to assist autistic and special needs patrons and their families.

We Speak Library - Communication Device

Patrons who are non-verbal or less-verbal can communicate with Library staff using our We Speak Library communication tablets. Picture symbols are used to help adults and children request library materials, find their way around the Library and more.

Available at:

"This Is My Library" - Social Story book

Introduce your family to an individual Library branch through photos so they will know what to expect on their first visit.
