    A Long Walk to Water

A Long Walk to Water - Linda Sue Park

An amazing book! Two young people... two stories. One takes place in 1985 and the other in 2008. They are determined survivors who may find the future they are hoping for.

    The Divergent Series

The Divergent Series - Veronica Roth

Once I began reading Divergent, I couldn't put the book down. The entire series was a total "page turner." The first book was by far my favorite. It was intriguing as the imaginary setting and characters developed. There weren't constant wars and hiding, never-ending depression and regret. In the second and third books, however, I felt that there were these things. For this reason, all I wanted to do was finish these books; I just wanted to get these books over with.

    Messenger

    Messenger - Lois Lowry

This is a great book, like the many other books Lois Lowry wrote. This book taught me to be open to read anything.

    My Most Excellent Year

My Most Excellent Year - Steve Kluger

My Most Excellent Year is a book that may take you a while to read, but it is definitely worth the time. My Most Excellent Year is a collection of letters, emails, texts, IMs, and blog posts that make up the story of three friends.
