     A Separate Peace

A Separate Peace - John Knowles

A wonderfully crafted story about the friendship of two boys in a time of confusion and war.

    Ender's Game

Ender's Game - Orson Scott Card

A great sci-fi read that dives deep into the bravery and workings of a boy genius named Ender. In a world that has set out to eliminate an alien population, Ender and his crew must find a way to save Earth. But the story reveals much more than what it originally seems to be...

    Divergent - Veronica Roth

Due to the movie that will be coming out, I thought that I should do a review on the series. Let me say something before I continue: I read the series before the movie was going to be made, so my opinion will have no connection to the movie. Divergent is a well-written book but the storyline is nothing new. The characters are people that you can get attached to and sometimes connect to. Though it's nothing new to the story world, it is a pleasant book to read.

    Insurgent - Veronica Roth

This book is still pretty good but just as the last one was, it is nothing new to the story world. The Divergent adventure continues and once again the book is well-written. I think that this book might not have been as good as Divergent, but it was still enjoyable to read.

    Allegiant - Veronica Roth

I was not a fan of this book. It was, in my opinion (and my mom's), poorly written. And the death of one of the characters was not worthy of the importance of that character. It could have easily been a death given to a minor character. Though it is understandable of why Veronica did this, many, including myself, were not happy with this ending.
