Valley Hi – North Laguna Library is located in the bustling Southpointe shopping center on Mack Road, just west of the 99 freeway. It opened its doors in September 2001, welcoming new customers each day to use the collection of 45,000 items, including: books for readers of all ages, music CDs, movies on DVD and VHS, Large Print books, books in Spanish and Vietnamese, recorded books, and periodicals.
Three of the library’s computers are dedicated to the Sacramento Public Library Catalog and also includes many useful databases. 21 computers have Internet access as well as Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Valley Hi – North Laguna Library has a small but dedicated Friends of the Library Affiliate. With an annual book sale and daily sales of magazines and paperbacks funds are generated to support school-age programs throughout the year.
