Let's Talk about: bULLYING

Kids. Teens. Adults. At school and in the workplace. Bullying knows no bounds. Discuss its ramifications and potential solutions with a teen who experienced bullying, as well as medical and legal experts.

The following panelists led a discussion about bullying on March 11, 2018.

Clare Howley


Clare Howley


Clare experienced bullying as a teen. Today, as a Sacramento City College (SCC) student, she shares her experience to help others. Throughout her high school career she volunteered at the Library. She is currently studying to be a youth librarian. 


 

Chris Nichols


Eric Glassman


Eric is a parent and former teacher. As an attorney at Shaw Law Group he has provided legal advice, training and litigation services to private corporations and public agencies for more than 20 years, specializing in bullying and harassment in the workplace.




Kim Nalder


Dr. Laura Kester, MD, MPH


Dr. Laura is a board-certified pediatrician specializing in adolescent medicine at UC Davis Children’s Hospital. She helps her young patients experiencing bullying and assists parents with early identification and intervention strategies.
