The Traveling Branch and the Wanderer serve all of the city and county of Sacramento. The bookmobiles visit about 50 sites a month, Monday through Thursday, and are staffed by Library Technicians Gary Lewis and Linda Howe.

The Traveling Branch serves mostly seniors in nursing facilities, retirement residences, and mobile home parks, as well as younger patrons in housing projects. This vehicle is a new 8' by 27' step van.

The Wanderer, an older and smaller unit, visits residential and health care facilities, and serves mostly senior citizens.
