Future Valley Hi - North Laguna Library Representatives from the City of Sacramento Parks and Recreation and the Sacramento Public Library are developing the Valley Hi - North Laguna Library and Shasta Park at the corner of Bruceville Road and the future extension of Cotton Lane. The Executive Summary of the Valley Hi - North Laguna Site Utilization Study is completed. Ground breaking is scheduled for Saturday, April 19, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. Formal remarks will be made by Heather Fargo, City of Sacramento Mayor; Bonnie Pannell, City of Sacramento Councilmember, District 8; Anne Marie Gold, Sacramento Public Library Director; Brandon Ida, Community Representative, Office of United States Senator Barbara Boxer from California; and Dr. L. Steven Winlock, Associate Superintendent, PreK-6 Education, Elk Grove Unified School District.
