Spanish-speaking tutors in the subjects of math and science are also available on demand, Sundays through Thursdays, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
How Live Homework Help works
Click the “Connect Now” button above. You will then be asked to enter your Sacramento Public Library card number and PIN (personal identification number). Once your library card and PIN are verified, you will be connected to Live Homework Help.
Once connected, fill out the requested information (grade, subject, etc.) The tutor will greet you as soon as they are available to connect.
The student and tutor communicate in a virtual classroom via instant messaging. Live Homework Help® also uses two-way whiteboards, which are especially helpful for math and science problems.
Who are the Tutors?
Tutors include certified teachers, college professors, and professional tutors, all with proven subject experience in the fields they assist.
Through Live Homework Help®, the tutor sees the grade level, subject, and student’s question and the student sees the tutor’s first name and last initial. The tutor will not share personal or identifying information. All tutors have passed background checks and comply with the Children’s Online Protection Act and Children’s Internet Protection Act.
