About Sacramento

Sacramento County spans a beautiful valley edging the foothills of the Sierra Nevada and the Sacramento River Delta. Summers are hot, but with mild winters and more than 200 sunny days a year, there is plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors and everything the city — called the Farm-to-Fork Capital by locals — has to offer, from microbreweries to museums.

More than 2 million people call the Sacramento metro area home and are proud to find San Francisco, Lake Tahoe and the wineries of Napa Valley in their backyard.
