Mobile services staff are back on the road with the Bookmobile to bring books and activities to families and seniors.
To help meet the community’s needs and prioritize patrons’ health and safety, our mobile services team will provide alternatives to browsing the Bookmobile by delivering bags of holds and providing personal shopper options to patrons on their routes. In addition, library staff will make contactless deliveries of books and other resources to housing communities along the Bookmobile route and pick up materials as well.
“The health and well-being of our patrons is a high priority. We’re thrilled to offer enhanced mobile services to keep our senior patrons connected to the library without having to leave their homes and engage families with small children throughout the summer,” said Cathy Crosthwaite, Community Engagement Manager.
