Sacramento Public Library launched curbside pickup of library materials on hold at select locations by appointment only. The pilot program is available at Sylvan Oaks Library and Belle Cooledge Library branches Tuesdays through Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m. Patrons can also return items to these branches during hours of operations. We will expand scheduled curbside service to more branches
Library staff will contact patrons who have items available for pickup. For full details, see the FAQ below.
Material picked up curbside will be checked out to patrons for 6 weeks with no fines will apply to these materials. Wait times for holds placed online may take longer than usual for pick up as we have a large backlog. We are currently unable to transfer items between library locations.
