Starting December 16, you’ll notice a new look to the catalog experience on our website. We’re launching a system that will make it easier to browse our full collection online and find what you are looking for at the library.
Beginning January 7 you can download the new Sacramento Public Library app to manage your account and browse the catalog.
What’s new:

- Responsive site design for desktop and mobile
- Ability to search our digital collection in Hoopla, Libby, online research tools, and resources
- Customize your experience by prioritizing search results to your home library
- Coming soon: Sacramento Public Library mobile app
What won’t change:
- Your account username and login
- Your items on hold
- Your account history

• Scan books you find and check to see if they are available to borrow
• Check out your holds and materials through the mobile app with no self-check or desk visit needed
