Sacramento Public Library honors its obligation under law to provide access to the Library's public records while protecting individuals’ rights to privacy. You may submit a request for public records pertaining to Library related business using the form below.

It is also the policy of the Library that, except for public records exempt from disclosure, a copy of reasonably-described identifiable records shall be made available with minimal delay to the requesting party. Read our complete Public Records Request policy.

*For printed copies of records, The first 5 pages are free. Subsequent pages are $0.15 each, based on the Library’s Fee Structure. Check, money order, or exact cash are accepted. Make payable to: Sacramento Public Library Please Note: Sacramento Public Library will notify requestor of cost of records when the number of pages has been determined.
