The Sound Factory stood as Sacramento's answer to the Bay's Fillmore and Avalon ballrooms for less than a year. During that time, dozens of rock and blues acts filled a former plumbing and heating supply building on Alhambra Blvd. with loud music and lots of happy kids. Bill Graham and Chet Helms produced psychedelic posters for their San Francisco shows, and the Sound Factory followed suit with a series of beautiful works commissioned to advertise the original run of their local weekly summertime all-ages concerts. These posters will be on display from April 6 to June 1, with a reception on April 6 from 2-4 PM.
