Tech Help: eBooks and Digital Library Resources
English Conversation Group (Beginner/Intermediate)
Practice speaking English in a friendly and informal online group setting using Zoom. Speak with both native English speakers and other English learners, led by a trained facilitator. We’ll discuss a variety of topics, ranging from everyday life to local things to do and more.
This group at 1:00 is for beginner/intermediate English learners, but all levels are welcome.

An intermediate/advanced group meets at 5:00 on Thursdays. There is a separate Zoom link. English learners are welcome to attend both groups.

Cook the Book: Diasporican/Cocinando con el libro: Diasporican (FULL)
Put on your cooking apron and join us for a bilingual cooking demonstration. Learn how to make Arroz con Dulce from “Diasporican: A Puerto Rican Cookbook,” presented in English and Spanish. All ingredients and supplies will be provided. Presented in partnership with Health Education Council.

Join us for Youth Comics Group! Enjoy snacks, trivia, and a lively discussion. We'll also have an activity based on our book: Measuring Up by Lily LaMotte. Copies will be available at the front desk the month leading up to the meeting.
This program is recommended for ages 9-12, and will take place in the Sylvan Oaks Community Room.
