and informal online group setting using Zoom. Speak with both native
English speakers and other English learners, led by a trained
facilitator. We’ll discuss a variety of topics, ranging from everyday
life to local things to do and more.
Topics will be a repeat of the ones discussed during the Thursday 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. groups. All levels are welcome.
Sacramento County Public Health and Agency on Aging Area 4 present Bingocize. Bingocize is a free evidence-based program that combines a bingo-like game with exercise and health education. The program has increased functional fitness, health knowledge and social engagement. The program will meet in the Jane Wise Community Room 2 times a week, every Wednesday and Friday for 10 weeks. Please note there will be no class on Friday, April 12th.

Dr. Brown-Wood will read her book, "Jam, Too?," and lead drum inspired movement activities accompanied by Bigger Than Us Arts who will support young children explore and play a variety of percussion instruments.
Attendees will receive a copy of Dr. Brown-Wood's book to take home (while supplies last) and participate in art activities inspired by the book.
Families with young children are invited to join us at Robbie Waters Pocket--Greenhaven Library for songs, rhymes, and stories designed to build early literacy skills.
