Sacramento County Public Health and Agency on Aging Area 4 present Bingocize. Bingocize is a free evidence-based program that combines a bingo-like game with exercise and health education. The program has increased functional fitness, health knowledge and social engagement. The program will meet in the Jane Wise Community Room 2 times a week, every Wednesday and Friday for 10 weeks. Please note there will be no class on Friday, April 12th.

Book an appointment in the Telehealth Booth at the Valley Hi-North Laguna Library to meet virtually with a registered nurse from HealthImpact. Nurses are available to answer questions about diabetes, dementia, heart disease, cancer screenings, vaccinations, and other health conditions.

Spend a fun-filled afternoon with us while we explore different STEAM activities and projects. STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art, and math, and this monthly program will explore some combination of those subjects. This program is designed for school-aged children (ages 6-12), and we hope to see you there!

Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade can attend the Homework Zone and will be helped by trained Teen Homework Coaches in completing their school assignments. Drop-in homework help is available every Wednesday from 4:00-5:30 pm in the Children's Area.

Join in the fun with stories, songs, movement and crafts that encourage development of early literacy and social skills in young children. The storytime is family-focused, and recommended for ages 2-4, but the whole family and children of all ages are welcome.

This program is for parents and caregivers of young children (ages 0-5); older siblings are welcome to attend. We meet in a shaded area next to the concrete dance slab which is located in front of the Rhoads School House.Participants are encouraged to bring blankets for sitting on the ground.
