In-person voting centers will be available at five library locations September 11 through September 14. All 26 ballot drop box  locations will offer extended hours from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. For more information about voting at the library, call customer service at (916) 264-2920.
 
Ballot Drop Boxes (August 17 - September 14)
Ballot drop boxes are available Tuesday - Saturday during regular hours of operation at 26 locations starting August 17. Please note that Ella K. McClatchy and North Sacramento-Hagginwood are not ballot drop box locations. 

Vote Centers (September 11 - 14)
Five library locations will serve as in-person vote centers starting September 11 including North Natomas, Robbie Waters Pocket-Greenhaven, South Natomas, Valley-Hi North Laguna and Walnut Grove. Drop boxes will also be available for voters.​ Vote center hours on September 11 - 13 are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vote centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on September 14.

Track Your Ballot
The California Secretary of State is now offering Where’s My Ballot?—a way for voters to track and receive notifications on the status of their ballot.  “BallotTrax, Where’s My Ballot?” allows voters to know where their ballot is, and its status, every step of the way.
 
Sacramento County is one of the participating counties. How you vote won’t be revealed but you can follow your ballot to see it received and ready to be counted.

Can I register to vote at the library?

Yes. Make an appointment for a public computer to register online or register at one of our five vote centers that open on September 11 - 14. 

What is a vote center?

You can vote in-person at a vote center, September 11 - 14. You can also pick up a replacement ballot, register to vote, and obtain voting assistance. Vote centers are staffed by county election employees. 

What is a ballot drop box location?

Voters can drop off completed ballots starting August 17. All 26 library locations have a secured ballot drop box, which is picked up regularly by county election staff. Drop boxes will be available during regular library hours of operation.
