On February 1, 2024, Sacramento Public Library will be moving to EBSCO for our online research tools, replacing Gale-Cengage products. EBSCO has a long history and proven track record of working with libraries, and we look forward to sharing EBSCO’s extensive collection of online magazines, newspapers, eBooks, and other research collections to support students in grades K-12, college students, and the research and information needs of our entire community.
EBSCO’s research collection provides equivalents to all of Gale’s popular news, magazine and reference products. In addition, we’ll be adding EBSCO’s research collections in law, small business start-up support and entrepreneurship, hobbies and crafts, home improvement, and small engine repair. We're excited for you to see what this new service can do for you.
