Join us on Saturday, September 30 from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Del Paso Heights Library to celebrate the one year anniversary of the early learning hub. Come together to enjoy a fun day of play, art activities, and resource fair for the whole family.
Learning through play is an easy and fun way for to fuel your child’s development. The Library is here to support you with free learning experiences and resources.
This event was supported in whole or in part by funding provided by the State of California, administered by the California State Library.
Learn while you play
Children learn through play. While it looks like they are just pretending to cook or drive, it is so much more. Make believe play initiates a wide range of learning and skill development, including social skills. They make connections between shapes and colors, learn language, practice fine motor skills, build their vocabulary and reinforce their knowledge of the world as they play. By talking with other children, they learn how conversation works.
About the Early Learning Hub
The Early Learning Hub at the Del Paso Heights Library features a play area, which was added in April 2022, that provides young children (ages 0-5) and their caregivers a space to explore, play and learn together. Stop in and play, or join us for weekly Explore and Learn play programs and Bilingual Storytimes.
