Job Tools (JobNow)
Provides users with a host of services to help in every step of the job search process including job searching, resume template, professional resume review, and live interview coaching.

Test Preparation
Prepare to pass tests with study materials and online practice tests. Exams include the ASVAB, TOEFL, TOEIC, NCLEX, civil service, firefighter, law enforcement, real estate license, accountant/auditor exams and more.

Tools for Veterans (VetNow)
Supports your community's veterans and their families with navigating the VA bureaucracy, providing academic tutoring, and employment transition assistance. Live navigation support is available, and all navigators are veterans. This resource is supported in whole or in part by funding provided by the State of California, administered by the California State Library.

Are resume review services free?

Yes, you can get resume help from the Adult Learning Center, an online service free to anyone with a valid Sacramento Public Library card. You can also access free resume review tools via Job Tools.

I don’t have an email account. How do I sign up for job coaching?

No problem. Call us at (916) 264-2920 to make an appointment for job coaching. Our job coaches can also help you set up a free email account to assist with your job hunt.
