Join us to learn more about completing your high school diploma online with the library on Friday, January 29 at 6 p.m. You’ll hear graduates speak about their experience and how they benefitted from the program. Staff will also be present to answer any questions.

Who can apply for the Library's GED program?

Sacramento County residents 18 years old and over, able to speak English and who can commit to being in the program for a minimum of 6 months, meeting once a week may apply to this program.

Who can apply for the Career Online High School Program?

Anyone 19 and over who is a Sacramento County resident and has a Sacramento Public Library card in good standing may apply to the COHS program. To find out more information, please contact us using the form on this page.

Is the COHS program accredited?

Yes, the Career Online High School program is accredited through as an online school district by the AdvancED Accreditation Commission, and delivers fully accredited high school diplomas at the completion of its program.
