Vote at the Library

Simplifying your voting experience.

We make voting convenient and quick. Election Day is March 3 and all 28 of our locations are ready for you to cast your vote with us.

  • Teen-led programs help pre-register teens under 18
  • Access to ballot drop-off spots to make voting as easy as possible
  • Events and programs for you to stay up to date about everything on your ballot

Beginning Feb. 29 through March 3, eleven library locations become official vote centers where you can register and vote during these specific hours:

Arden-Dimick Library | Carmichael Library | Colonial Heights Library | Fair Oaks Library | North Highlands-Antelope Library | North Natomas Library | Robbie Waters Pocket-Greenhaven Library | South Natomas Library | Sylvan Oaks Library | Valley Hi - North Laguna Library | Walnut Grove Library

Special Election Day hours: All libraries will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on March 3.

Regular business and parking may be impacted.
Have Questions?
Can I register to vote at the library?

Yes. Register online on one of our public computers or pick up a paper application to register to vote. You can also register at the vote centers from Feb. 29 through March 3 as well.

What events do you have about voting for kids?

During election season, we have done activities for kids as young as toddlers, such as storytime elections, and our teen advisory board is always spreading the word about pre-registering to vote.

What hours can I drop off my ballot?

During election season, check the hours where you’d like to drop your ballot off on your library’s location page.
